We are storytellers & we capture life stories

We document the unnoticed details, the romantic touches, the tears, the smiles. We capture the little fleeting moments that pass by in the blink of an eye. We are trusted allies, confidents, a constant in the rising anticipation of the day. We are the silent shadows on the most beautiful day of your lives, the preservers of your precious timeless memories.

Our Manifesto

It's about love, and connections. The awe and wonders. It's about you and your story. Beyond the small material details are the raw moments and the emotions that weave every moments. We let you embrace your story to give you space to shine, show your true self, fully and unapologetically.

We capture your in between moments, your essence, so that you can experience the emotions you felt when you lived them. We will bring you back to that place of pure emotion.

A little about us...

We are a bilingual husband and wife team who share a passion for documenting love stories. Our journey started at work back in 2007 during challenging times, but we knew from the beginning that we were meant to be together. From hallway talks to lunches, it slowly blossomed into a beautiful love story. We're best friends and soulmates and we couldn’t imagine life without the other in it.

Our love for each other is what inspires us to capture the love between our clients. At the heart of our photography philosophy is the belief that life is made up of simple pleasures - love, trust, and laughter. We strive to capture these elements in every photograph we take, creating beautiful and timeless memories for you and your loved ones. We don't just take pictures; we create memories that will last a lifetime. Our documentary-style photography captures the candid moments and emotions that make your day truly unique.

We are based in Chesterville, just outside of Ottawa. Annie hails from Quebec City, so we often travel between the two provinces and beyond to capture special moments for our incredible clients. Our passion for photography is matched only by our love for good coffee, delicious food, and spending quality time with our family and Quincy, our adorable fur baby.

"We’re all a little weird. And life is a little weird. And when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall into mutually satisfying weirdness–and call it love–true love."

Yves - The Head

Hey, I'm Yves! I'm the English guy with the French name. I grabbed my first film camera in high school but never thought one day I would be here, 30 some odd years later capturing life stories. I am a bit of a coffee snob and I love to cook. Just ask Annie and she will confirm how I won her over with food! Taco Tuesday is my favorite day of the week and in my spare time I hide in my shop to do some woodworking. I'm a proud dad to an amazing daughter, luckiest grandpa to the sweetest little girl, step-dad to two great young adults, fur dad to a clown Boston Terrier and lucky to have married my soulmate.

Annie - The Heart

Hello, I'm Annie! I'm a little shy introvert originally from Quebec City who very much prefers being behind the camera. But don't get me wrong, I love making connections with people. I'm a big suck for the little details, and I have a severe obsession with ring photos. I love Indian and Mexican food, and will not resist a glass of wine, a crème brûlée or a nice piece of mocha chocolate cake! I am lucky to be called mom by two awesome young adults, friend to a stunning step-daughter who gave us the cutest little grandbaby and wifey to an amazing husband - that guy over there. My heart would not be complete without our little fur ball, Quincy the Boston Terrier.
