Emily & Ryan
Who said that all engagement sessions should be done in the warmer months? Not us that for sure! We have been so lucky in the past with these wintery session to get fabulous weather. Although this last one was a little colder than expected, it was worth every minutes of it!
We knew from the moment they walked in the coffee shop for our introductory consultation that we would love Emily and Ryan. To be true to our nature, we talked too much, laughed a lot, shared information, but that's what we do. We love establishing that first connection with our clients, because if they don't get to know who we are, then we may not be the best fit for their needs. You want people you know you can trust around you on your wedding day. They had meetings lined-up with other photographers, and we were thrilled when they messaged us back to be their official photographers. Plus, we will get to return to the beautiful Temples Sugar Bush for their I Do's!
When planning the engagement session, we chose locations that had meaning to them and established a route to make it all happen. We don't shoot downtown often in the winter, so we were surprised that some areas could not be accessed due to seasonal closures or renovations. But it did not stop us from finding vantage points that allowed us to include the locked locations in our frames. It all worked out in the end and we had a gorgeous sunset to top it off.
We are looking forward to the next few months until their wedding to see their plans take shape and assist them along the way. 2020 will be a fantastic year! Here are some of our favorites from their engagement session!
