Early summer is always magical in Quebec City, and what better than starting your season with a beautiful Manoir Montmorency wedding. We met Michele & Sebastien a few weeks before for their windy engagement session by the St-Lawrence river. We fell under the charm of this amazing couple.

Michele & Sebastien had their Manoir Montmorency wedding on a bright and windy early June day. Seems like the wind is a common theme when we get to photograph them loll. While our time didn’t allow for photos at the base of the falls, the day overflowed with personal touches that reflected Michele and Sebastien’s unique love story. Everything they loved was included in their day. From plants and florals, to board games, to little elements from favorite movies and most importantly, their favorite people. Every detail was a testament to their love and individuality, meticulously coordinated by the talented Natasha from Louv Événementiel.

It’s always a joy to witness couples infuse their personalities into their special day, and Michele & Sebastien did so with heartfelt sincerity. Their day was filed with meaningful rituals and details. One of those rituals constituted of circulating their wedding rings amongst their guests, so they could infuse them with their good wishes and energy. Another one saw guests playfully toss wool balls across the aisle as they exited the ceremony, thus creating an arch above them, to symbolize the happy union of their two families. Amongst the details you could see 1,000 handmade origami cranes, symbolizing long life, happiness, good fortune, and longevity. They also had 1,000 origami stars symbolizing endless love. Finally, they opened their reception twirling away and of course invited their guests to join the fun. Everything was perfect for this beautiful Manoir Montmorency wedding.
